We received a package yesterday and opened it to find Cason as Mr. September in the 2010 Children's Organ Transplant Association calendar! Check it out!
Tonight we went trick or treating in the rain with some friends from Thomaston. Jackson dressed in his favorite penguin costume and Cason was a horse. Both of the boys wore these costumes two years ago, so they were a little snug, but we couldn't convince them to wear anything else! Happy Halloween!
We all had a great time at the fall festival last night. Jackson dressed up as a penguin and Cason was a dragon. Jackson's favorite game was the bean bag throw and Cason really enjoyed getting lots of different tattoos. They had so much fun an...d really got lots and lots of candy during the Trunk or Treat!
Jackson took his first hunting trip with Tricia's brother, Jeff, and me on Saturday. He has really been into shooting his bb gun and bow and arrow lately and he always has a million questions about hunting, so Jeff thought that it would be fun to take him into the woods to show him what it's all about. We didn't see any deer, but he loved getting dressed up in his camo, sneaking into the woods, and firing off a few shots at a random squirrel and chipmunk here and there. I think that we may have a tried and true country boy on our hands!
We went to North Georgia with Jeff, Gina and their kids on Friday to go to the pumpkin patch and apple orchard. It was a soggy day, but we still had a really good time. We stopped by the Varsity for some artery-clogging grub on the way up!
The boys were totally anxious to carve a pumpkin today. They loved scooping out the guts and calling them "pumpkin boogers" and they can't wait to cook and eat the seeds tomorrow!
Thanks for stopping by to read about our never ending adventures!
May the God of hope grant you all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
