We had a fantastic time at the golf tournament today. Thanks to everyone who played and volunteered. It was a great day! We raised over $20,000 for Cason's COTA campaign. To God be the Glory!
We spent Memorial Day in T-Town today. B.G. had to work for a while, but after he came home we spent the rest of the day swimming and playing on our new rope swing in the front yard. The pool is still pretty chilly, but the boys can't resist!
Our friends Mark and Stephanie have been bee keeping for the last couple of years and today they let us come and get on some of the action. B.G. and Mark sprayed the bees with sugar water to calm them down before they dumped them into the hive. We are hoping that they will produce some honey before the end of the season.
Today was Jackson's end of the year party at Super fun Safari in Thomaston. Cason and I tagged along and we all had a super fun time! When B.G. got home from work we all went and played nine holes of golf. The weather was awesome today and we all had a great day!
Yesterday was a special Mother's Day! My boys picked out a pretty pink dress for me and we enjoyed spending the day together and having B.G.'s family over for dinner. The day was really emotional for me. I miss my mom a bunch and Mother's Day will probably always be tough for me to get through. I miss her phone calls, shopping with her, spending lazy days together, taking walks and getting lots of advice on everything. She was an amazing lady who taught me how to live life faithfully and to always push on, knowing that "God's got it". I wish she was here to see how big our sweet boys are and to give them lots more "apple pie kisses"! It's exciting to know that we'll see her again in Heaven one day!
We are the parents of two amazing little boys, ages four and three. We have been through some pretty tough trials with them lately, but we remain confident in the supremacy, grace and mercy of God. We hope that you might be inspired to know Him, too.
