One line out, another one in.

Cason just got out of surgery and everything went according to plan. We weren't sure if they were going to be able to take out the central line and put in the PICC line at the same time, but it worked out to do both. Praise the Lord! He is a bit nauseated from the anesthesia, but otherwise doing well. Dr. Jernigan assured us today that we will be out in time for our appointment with the transplant team at Egleston on Tuesday, so we are excited about that, too.

Cason has had a rough couple of days as a result of some heavy medication to treat the yeast in his line. His blood pressure dropped pretty low, which is a side effect of the drug, so he has been a littly groggy. We are hoping that he can get on a different medication now that the central line is out, but we'll see.

We'll keep you posted. Thanks for praying.

Thanks for the update. Hopefully all this will pass quickly and that sweet little thing can move through the transplant quickly too. You all remain in my prayers.
