roller coaster...

So just to keep things exciting, we had to take Tricia to the ER Monday afternoon. Some of you may remember that she had some major surgery a few years ago to remove her large intestine. Both pre and post surgically she had several intestinal blockages which were horribly painful and typically meant a week or so in the hospital. It's been about four years since her last bout, but Monday she had to go through it again. In addition to the obstruction she also had a kidney stone, so she may have had some discomfort from that, as well. She was in excruciating pain for a few hours, but was finally able to get some relief through a few heavy duty meds. We ended up staying overnight, but praise the Lord that she was able to come home on Tuesday. She is sore and tired, but feeling lots better. Please pray for her if you get a chance. Thank you so much to Gail and Dr. Dan, Angela, Kristen, Katie, Nona and Papa for helping us with the boys. We appreciate so much the sacrifices that you guys make for us.

On a happier note, we had a great report on Cason today. His blood values look better than they have in a really long time. I am praying that God will just keep these moving in the right direction and that Cason will be healed completely. I don't know how many of you believe that this can happen, but I do. He has two kidneys. All they've got to do is pick up the pace a little bit and we are good to go! We also found out that Cason is free and clear from Mono, which is a huge relief!

We'll keep you posted...
