Happy Birthday Jackson!

It has been so good to be at home the past few days. We have all enjoyed sleeping in our own beds and the boys have enjoyed being able to play with the presents that Santa brought for Christmas. Cason has been doing amazing. He has been eating everything! We are hoping to start meeting with our speech therapist in the next few weeks to work on Cason's swallowing. Right now, he is only swallowing puddings, jellos, yogurts, etc and spitting out more solid consistencies. We will have blood drawn every Monday and go to clinic on Thursdays for the next 7 weeks. Thanks so much for your prayers. We are still totally amazed at how evident God has been in planning and taking care of us all throughout this experience. But, why are we so surprised?

Today we celebrated Jackson's 3rd birthday. I cant believe that we have a 3 year old. Wow! I think that the best present for him this year was that we were all home together. He has made lots of comments throughout the day of "how great it is to be home", "we are the whole Blakely family", and "I love the four of us". He has been such a trooper! We are so thankful for his great personality and for his flexibility. He brings so much joy into all of our lives.

Here are some pictures of us playing around the house (since Cason is not supposed to be out in public for a while) and also there are some of the boys eating birthday cake.

Thanks so much for always reading and keeping our family in your prayers. We are so grateful for our amazing friends and loving family.
