Cason has had a great day today. Our doctors, nurses and transplant team have really been amazed at how well he is doing. He is still pretty fluffy from all of the fluids, but today they decreased his IV fluids so hopefully now we can being to measure how much this new kidney is voiding. They also are starting to wean him off of his blood pressure medicine. Please continue to pray for his blood pressure to remain a little high so that it can help the blood pump strong to Nona's healthy kidney. Also, today they started to being tube feeding him slowly. He was asking everyone for milk, which is a good sign, but the doctors
say that he still needs to be NPO.
Tonight Ashley sat with Cason while we delivered Chick-fil-a to the staff at both hospitals and when we came back Cason was rosy cheeked from playing and laughing. He really is feeling good! Today during the day he has only had Tylenol for pain. We saw Nona tonight too, and she is still very very sleepy from anesthesia. She still hasn't been able to cross the street, but hopefully tomorrow she will be strong enough to make the ride.

Cason and Beverly both look great and are both amazing! (B.G., you and Tricia are pretty amazing, too!) I'm so thankful that our prayers are being answered in such a positive way. I'm sure y'all are quite a witness to the doctors and nurses. God has placed you there for such a time as this.

I am so proud of you Cason, mommy and daddy. I am having fun with Big Daddy and Gigi. Yesterday I got a bucket of golf balls........I can't wait to hit them. I am looking forward to seeing ya'll today. I love you!
