Transplant

Cason officially has a new kidney! Praise the Lord! The surgery went better than planned due to the fact that the surgeons didn't have to remove either of Cason's kidneys and didn't have to remove his GJ tube (if it was removed then he would have had another procedure before he left to put it back). God's power and mercy have been so evident today and knowing that so many of you have been praying has been so comforting. We've had a crew of family and friends here with us all day today, which has been awesome.

The Lord just keeps filling us with an overwhelming peace throughout all of this. It's an incredible thing, but not really surprising because He has blessed us over and over again in this way since Cason was born. We can't wait to see the amazing things that God has planned for our little man and we feel like this is a launching point.

Mom is doing great and was overwhelmed by the fact that Cason is doing so well. We got to spend some sweet time with her right after she came to her room and we can't wait for her to see Cason, hopefully tomorrow.

We'll keep updating regularly, so check the blog often and let us know what you think. We love you all so much.

Praise the Lord! What precious moments with with one of Gods littlest angels. I'm SO glad that the surgery is over and both Nona and Cason are recovering well.
