Praise the Lord!

Praise the Lord, the kidney transplant is over and everything was completely successful. Dr Kirk just reported to the family that Casons kidney is pumping blood well and is even urinating. Additionally, they did not have to remove his feeding line (this will save a future surgery) and he is already breathing on his own. He is even screaming which is great news. Beverly Blakely is already in her room and she came through her donor surgery like a "champion". God has truly blessed this entire family today and has exceeded all of our expectations for Cason. Within an hour, we will be able to see him. He will be in intensive care for 3 or 4 days and then will begin experience his "new life". We love all of you and thank you for your prayers and continued support. "To God be the Glory"

Dear Tricia and BG,

Praise God! I can only imagine the stress you all have been under today. We continue to pray for Cason as he recovers and for no complications and for you strength and peace for the entire family. Dear Tricia, I have been thinking of your sweet mom a lot lately and know that she is praying the prayers of the saints in heaven for you all and for sweet Cason. The word tells us that even Jesus prays for us and constantly interceeds for us. may you feel His loving touch and strength right now.
Much love,
Ron, Amy, and Lily Kate Burdekin
